Seth Evans

Jake’s growth path
Graduating from Freed-Hardeman University with a BA in Bible, Jake began his career as a youth and associate pastor. Following a short stint in West Virginia, he became the Director of Student Ministries at a large church in southeast Ohio. In this role, Jake oversaw growing middle school and high school programs, managed the communication & marketing strategy for the church, spoke at conferences and events throughout the northeast, and led an annual weekend conference drawing students from around the northeast.
During this time, he developed a passion for storytelling and thoughtful marketing. His blog connected him with opportunities to train and teach businesses, college students, and church leaders in creative marketing approaches. His freelance work earned spots for clients on ESPN.com, Inc.com, and the Art of Manliness.
In 2013, Jake joined Adept as the Director of Strategy. His work has delivered impressive results for Fortune 10 brands, Fortune 100 & 500 companies, and global non-profits.
